Dhurandhar became a powerful success after its December release when Aditya Dhar's film started showing in theatres.

The upcoming sequel will follow the same path as an unstoppable force which was established in the first film. The film trailer which released last week opened advance ticket sales for preview shows which will occur on the night before the official release.

The current ticket sales which exist for selected Wednesday shows on March 18 have already exceeded the opening-day ticket sales of various films.

Dhurandhar 2 breaks record in advance bookings

Fans could start buying tickets for Dhurandhar 2 after the trailer launched at 11:01 AM on March 7. The film achieved 87K ticket sales through BookMyShow within its first 24 hours.

The platform reported more than 1.5 lakh users by March 9 morning while total user accounts reached beyond 2 lakh at that time.

Sacnilk reports that the film's first shows in India have sold 2.06 lakh tickets which generated a box office revenue of ₹12.29 crore.

The original Hindi version generates most of the revenue but the Tamil dub has surprised everyone by earning almost ₹10 lakh from its preview shows.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has established a new record for Bollywood films by achieving the highest box office revenue from its opening shows which surpasses the previous record set by Stree 2 that reached ₹10 crore. The current number will increase because the premiere date is still nine days away.
