Audery Hepburn’s son Sean Hepburn Ferrer breaks silence on Lily Collins’ casting in upcoming movie adaptation of 1961 movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Lily will be playing the iconic Audery in the untitled movie, which will be based on Sam Wasson’s nonfiction book Fifth Avenue, 5 AM: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Woman.
Interestingly, the netizens were divided over Lily’s casting as Audery, with some calling it a “bold choice”.
But now, Audery’s son Sean Hepburn Ferrer was happy with the Emily in Paris actress’ casting.
He told Fox News Digital, ‘I love Lily Collins. Sam Wasson, the book’s writer, is a good friend of mine and I’m very happy for him. I don’t have any huge thoughts on the film as it hasn’t been made yet.”
“I believe that my mother might cringe at ‘Dawn of the Modern Woman,’ but she cringed at any compliment. And now there are two films in prep for her, this one and ‘Dinner with Audrey,’” explained Sean.
He added, “I’m not sure how one adapts such a ‘historical snapshot.’”
