Dakota Johnson sent social media into a frenzy after her debut in a Calvin Klein campaign.

On Monday, March 9, the iconic underwear brand launched its new campaign featuring Johnson lounging around in undies or jeans sometimes.

Following the campaign launch, Elle shared a detailed interview with the Materialists actress, where she reflected on feeling good in her body and working with Calvin Klein.

“Working with Calvin at this moment feels very symbiotic with where I am currently in my life,” Johnson told the outlet. “I’m at a place in my womanhood where I feel quite calm and centered.”

The Fifty-Shades franchise star added that she spends a lot of time at home and feels very comfortable in her body, adding that doing the denim and underwear campaign with a laid-back, sensual tone felt like an honest reflection of where she is in her life right now.

Following the interview, the interviewer questioned Johnson about how the meaning of “sexy” has changed over time for her, and what’s the sexiest item she has in her closet.

“I think the sexiest clothing items are the ones that make you feel good in your body,” she explained. “Feeling good in clothes changes your energy and physicality.”

She emphasised that sometimes wearing a big, worn-out T-shirt can feel like the sexiest thing in the world, while at other times even being dressed in lacy lingerie can make someone feel uncomfortable or unattractive.

“For me, it’s all about the way something makes me feel,” she asserted.
