‘In The Grey’ trailer reveals Guy Ritchie’s star-studded action film
Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill & Eiza González lead upcoming action feature
Hollywood filmmaker Guy Ritchie is returning to the action arena with his upcoming feature In The Grey, offering fans a first look at the high-stakes thriller led by Jake Gyllenhaal, Henry Cavill, and Eiza González.
The newly released trailer, released on Monday, March 9, teases a slick, globe-trotting mission centred on a covert team tasked with retrieving a stolen fortune worth billions.
A bold line flashes across the preview: “When billions get stolen, they are the pros who steal it back.”
The story follows an elite unit of operatives who operate in the shadows, blending political influence with brute force when necessary. Their latest mission, recovering a billion-dollar fortune stolen by a ruthless despot, quickly escalates into a deadly game of strategy, deception, and survival.
The action film is written and directed by Ritchie, whose signature blend of stylised action and sharp storytelling has defined projects such as The Gentlemen and Snatch.
Alongside Cavill, Gyllenhaal, and González, the cast also includes Kristofer Hivju, Fisher Stevens, and Rosamund Pike.
The film is produced by Ritchie, John Friedberg, Dave Caplan, and Ivan Atkinson.
Studio Black Bear Pictures will release the movies after acquiring distribution rights from Lionsgate, which had initially been set to handle the domestic rollout.
In The Grey hits cinemas on May 15.
