Gwen Stefani has revealed that a profound spiritual experience helped her conceive her youngest child named Apollo when she was 44.

In a conversation 56-year-old Stefani spoke with evangelist Jeff Cavins about her upbringing in a devout Italian-Catholic household.

She shared memories of attending catechism and saying grace nightly describing her faith as a “grounding” force planted by her mother.

“I wasn’t the way I feel like I am now where I have all this knowledge,” Stefani said. “I call myself a ‘baby Christian’ because I’m certainly a work in progress. My mom planted the seed of faith in me, and she was right...I needed it.”

“I really wanted to have another baby, and I couldn’t. I was older. Talking with him about the Torah..it woke me up,” she said.

She also recalled a touching moment with her eldest son named Kingston 19.

“He came up to me and said, ‘Mommy, I really want you to have a baby.’ I told him I was too old, but he started praying for me on his own every night,” Stefani shared.

“About four weeks later, I was pregnant with Apollo. Totally naturally. A full-on gift. That was the first miracle.”

Stefani shares her three sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, 12 with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
