Sarah Jane Ramos shoots down rumours about pre-nuptial agreements with NFL star Dak Prescott, ending their engagement.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and the wine specialist split their engagement one month before their wedding, which was planned in Italy, as confirmed by multiple news outlets.

On Monday, March 9, Sarah commented on an Instagram video in which Speakeasy talk show co-hosts Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy debated the topic of pre-nuptial agreements.

Speaking about the pros and cons of a prenup, the pair took Ramos and Prescott’s breakup into account.

The video featured a screenshot of text alleging, "The rumor is that Dak spent the last few months pushing hard for a rock-solid prenup to protect his new bag, and she flat-out refused to sign it."

However, Ramos swiftly dismissed the speculation in the comments section of an Instagram Reel shared on Monday, writing: “This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumour to rest now.”

Ramos and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback had been set to tie the knot in Italy this spring. The former couple shares two daughters: Margaret Jane Rose, 2, and Aurora Rayne, 9 months.

Although the reason isn’t revealed yet, Ramos’ reps told PEOPLE that both she and Prescott are "both heartbroken that they’re not getting married."
