Aari Aari, the pulse pounding track from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is finally released.

Earlier, Jio Studios had announced on social media, “If you’re STILL not ready for this, get ready now Aari Aari out on March 12 at 12:12 PM.”

On Thursday, March 12, the makers of the  Dhurandhar: The Revenge dropped the first track from the much anticipated sequel of the spy thriller.

The song, which appeared in the March 7 trailer, quickly grabbed attention amid shootouts, spy missions, and intense action moments.

Interestingly, the two minute forty three second long anthem is a modern version of the Punjabi hit Baari Barsi from the early 2000s, first performed by the Denmark based band Bombay Rockers.

Many verses start with the line, “Baari barsi khattan gaya si…,” referring to someone leaving home for work and returning after twelve years.

Meanwhile, the acclaimed actor has delivered a powerful performance in the song, marking another memorable track in his career. 

However, a Baari Barsi inspired track also appeared in his debut film Band Baaja Baaraat.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film stars Ranveer alongside Sara Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Dhurandhar: The Revenge releases in theatres on March 19, with paid previews on March 18.

On the business front, early previews are doing well, selling 356,817 tickets across 8,371 shows nationwide, bringing in an estimated Rs 19.01 crore, rising to Rs 24.2 crore with blocked seats counted.
