The creators of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 have announced when they will release the movie in theatres.

The sequel to the cult comedy Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 will arrive in cinemas on August 28, 2026.

The announcement was made with the unveiling of the film's poster which confirmed the next chapter of the beloved franchise nearly two decades after the original became a favourite among audiences.

Prashant Bhagia directs the sequel which Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar produce through their T-Series company in partnership with Tandav Films. The project is also produced by Savita Raj Hiremath and Raj Hiremath.

The sequel will bring back the original cast members to their original roles while the plot details remain secret. Actor Ravi Kishan has also joined the film in an important role.

The project was first announced earlier this year in January. The veteran actor Anupam Kher achieved his professional career milestone when he began working on his 550th film project.

Kher used social media to share the special moment with his followers while he shared his complete path as an Indian cinema actor.

The actor revived his encounter with an international filmmaker from the Cannes Film Festival who had previously called him the "Marathon Man of Indian Cinema" after discovering his extensive film work.

Kher expressed his emotions about beginning his 550th film Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 through the following statement.

The original Khosla Ka Ghosla received broad acclaim because of its satirical portrayal of middle class ambitions and family relationships and the disordered nature of property conflicts that occur in Indian cities.

The film has built a dedicated fan base who still enjoy its comedic moments and authentic storytelling.
