Zara Larsson was rumoured to replace Camilla Cabello
Swedish pop star Zara Larsson has set the record straight about her Fifth Harmony rumour.
The Grammy-nominated star was rumoured to replace Camilla Cabello in the girl group after the Cuban singer left the band in 2016.
While speaking in an interview with Tomás Mier at the Spotify Live Room, Zara has denied the rumour.
“Oh, no. I don’t do groups,” she stated.
Zara sternly added that she would never be a part of a girl group.
Fifth Harmony rose to fame after being created on The X Factor in 2012, similar to Little Mix and One Direction’s rise to fame.
“I'm a big fan of girl groups. Like, I love that. I also like that I feel like the girl groups are coming back big time” Zara further added.
The Lush Life singer explained that she wants to be lead and center of a performance and that does not happen in girl groups.
Camilla left the group in 2016 to pursue a solo career and a year later the group went on an indefinite hiatus.
