Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted away from film sets this week, keeping things simple with a quiet outing in Mumbai. 

The couple visited a Chowpatty eatery along with Ranveer’s father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, in what looked like an easy, unplanned evening.

A photo shared online by Benne restaurant showed the three posing with staff. The 40-year-old actor held the phone for a selfie, dressed in a black T-shirt, white cap and sunglasses. 

The 40-year-old actress stood beside him, smiling and flashing a peace sign, her hair tied back. Jagjit Singh Bhavnani stood behind them as staff gathered close.

The caption read, “Something and all is happening pt.2 #benne #chowpatty.”

The outing follows a recent public appearance by the Padmavaat star at a live concert by sitarist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma. 

She attended with family members, dressed in a red, golden and black suit, keeping the same low-key presence.

On screen, both actors remain busy. The Gully Boy actor was last seen in Dhurandhar 2, a spy thriller released on March 19. 

The film follows his character’s rise in Karachi’s underworld while tracing his past as an Indian agent.

Deepika, meanwhile, last appeared in Singham Again and is preparing for King alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She is also set to feature in a new project by Atlee with Allu Arjun.
