Indian actress Poonam Pandey has once again left social media scratching its head, after sharing what appears to be a pregnancy announcement, but not everyone is convinced.

On 31 March, the 35-year-old posted two photos on Instagram. In one, she is seen with her T-shirt rolled up, showing what looks like a baby bump.

In the other, the Nasha actress poses with the shirt pulled down, but the bump still visible. The caption was brief, just emojis of a pregnant woman, a milk bottle and a baby.

That was enough to set off a storm online but not with congratulatory messages only.

Fans reacted quickly with mixed reactions. Some offered congratulations, while others seemed confused. One fan wrote, “Really ?” Another said, “What ????? Seriously ????” A third comment read, “Hmmm but father kon hain.??”

There was also doubt. Some users suggested the images could be fake. “AI,” one comment said. Another added, “Another fake stunt.” A few even linked it to an April Fool’s prank.

The scepticism comes from her past social media activity.

In 2024, the Malini & Co. actor had claimed she died from cervical cancer, only to return a day later saying it was a publicity stunt for awareness. The move drew heavy criticism at the time.

Since then, her online posts have often been viewed with caution, and there is also no confirmation if this latest post is real, or something else entirely.
