Johnny Depp gets into a new legal trouble along with his band Hollywood Vampires mates Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen.

The rock group was supposed to perform a show at the Olympic Fields in Slovakia in July 2023, but they cancelled the gig last minute.

They abruptly cancelled the concert by releasing a statement that read, “Upon arrival today to the venue in Slovakia to begin set up for tonight’s performance, it quickly became clear that the construction of the facility was incomplete, and therefore unsafe for both the band and the general public.”

“The band is very upset by this recent and unfortunate turn of events, and hope to return when schedules permit.”

Hollywood Vampires have been sued by the concert promoters for missing out the show in Slovakia.

Ahead of their outdoor shows scheduled in the UK and Europe this Summer, they have been named in the federal court filings in Texas.

According to the reports of TMZ, the band’s lawyers are working on asking for a case dismissal as it shouldn’t be heard in Texas.

The promoter claims that he paid the Hollywood Vampires an advance of $277, 000 for the show. He even asked them to return the money but got no response.

In the legal documents, the promoter has mentioned that the band postponed the show apparently due to Depp’s alleged hospitalization at the time.

According to the plaintiff, the reason of cancelling the show did not relate to any venue issues.
