Khloé Kardashian shares honest take on body transformation: ‘No magic’
Khloé Kardashian reveals truth behind her weight loss journey
Khloé Kardashian has provided transparent insight into her fitness and weight loss journey.
In a conversation with PEOPLE, the 41-year-old reality star made it clear that there are no shortcuts when it comes to achieving a significant body transformation.
"You know, for me, working out started from a low place in my life and it wasn't about trying to be a certain amount on the scale. And it isn't still, I don’t even own a scale. I don't look at that,” Kardashian said.
She continued, “You just have to do what feels good to you. I know it's super easy to compare yourself to other people, especially with social media. And I've been a victim to that, but it feels so good when you are your only competition.”
The Good American co-founder emphasised that comparison is pointless, especially given that everyone’s body is different.
“I get excited when I see certain things on myself and I'm now 41 and I've come to realize, okay, we all truly don't have the same body. There's no one size fits all. Someone goes to the gym twice a week and they have this incredible body and I might have to fight for mine a little harder,” she noted. “And I also think that's like a cool thing to brag about. And I think that's okay to just be on your own race with yourself."
Furthermore, Kardashian shared that true confidence comes from within.
“Do you feel confident and do you like yourself as a person from the inside out? I think all of those things matter and the rest are just extras that we get to work hard for. And as much as people wanna believe, there is no magic anything, I think we all have to work at something,” she remarked.
Toward the end, the mother of three added, “There might be a little assistance and help, and thank God for that. But you still have to reprogram your brain and feel good about yourself and love yourself before any of those magic things actually do what they're supposed to do.”
What pushed Khloé Kardashian to begin her fitness journey?
Kardashian began her fitness journey in 2013 amid her divorce from Lamar Odom.
She later used the gym as a safe space to release her emotions after her therapist allegedly leaked extremely confidential information from their sessions.
