The upcoming film Jailer 2 which stars Rajinikanth has become one of the most anticipated movies in recent history. Rajinikanth has now shared that the film's shoot is over and it is in post-production.
He provided information about the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial at Chennai airport on Saturday while he remained silent about the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections.
The media received Rajinikanth with enthusiasm when he reached the Chennai airport. With a gentle smile, he answered some questions by reporters.
Rajinikanth said, "The shooting of the upcoming film Jailer 2 has been completed and is currently in its final stages. The production team will soon officially announce the release date."
On being inquired about the Tamil Nadu elections expected to happen, he quickly refused to comment and added, “Vanakkam”. These will be observed on April 23.
Rajinikanth spoke for the first time last month after Aadhav Arjuna made recent claims about him which said the actor stayed away from politics because of a threat from the DMK.

However, he cancelled his plans to enter politics, saying a health scare had been “a warning from God” “I will serve the people in whatever ways I can, without entering electoral politics,” he wrote.
