The trailer of Bhooth Bangla starring Akshay Kumar was released on Monday, giving a first look at the film’s horror-comedy theme.
The video, which ran for over three minutes, showed a mix of humour and suspense. It introduced a story set in a large mansion where strange and scary events had started to take place.
The plot followed a man who had travelled to the mansion to arrange a wedding for a close friend. As preparations moved forward, unusual incidents had created fear among the people present in the house.
The trailer suggested that an unknown force named “Vadhusur” had been linked to the disturbances.
Despite repeated warnings, the lead character had continued with the wedding plans until he came face to face with the entity.
Actor Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav were also seen in key roles, adding comic moments throughout the scenes.Tabu appeared as part of the ensemble cast.
The makers had announced that the film was produced by Akshay Kumar along with Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It had been presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films.
Bhooth Bangla was scheduled to release in cinemas on April 17, 2026.
