Remo Dsouza established the dance film category through his 2013 movie ABCD aka Any Body Can Dance.
The film opened to Rs. 5.50 crores despite its lack of famous actors because it competed against the Akshay Kumar starring Special 26 movie which released in 2013.
The movie achieved total earnings of Rs. 45.50 crores because of its theme and effective marketing and ability to attract young viewers and its popular music and its dance performances.
The second part of the film follows Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor through their performance in Any Body Can Dance which became a successful film because it reached more than Rs. 100 crore in revenue.
Our source has discovered that Remo has started developing a new dance movie which he plans to name ABCD 3.
The insider continued, “It’ll be produced by Amit Chandrra of Trigger Happy Studios. Remo Dsouza and his team have cracked a great idea for the film. They are now working on the screenplay. Remo is fully aware that a lot has changed since the last time he attempted a dance film in terms of audience consumption exposure to various dance forms etc. He has kept those changes and Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences in mind while envisioning his upcoming venture.”
Another source explained that the second part of ABCD would continue from the first part. This source indicates that the characters from ABCD – Any Body Can Dance will appear in Remo's upcoming project.
