The anticipation around Allu Arjun’s next movie, said to be a science fiction, has grown with a poster released on April 7, which set social media abuzz.

A post on X (formerly Twitter) shared by Sun Pictures shows what looks like an animal hand with sharp claws, and that one image has already set off wild guesses online.

“Brace for the BlAAst Title Poster – Tomorrow @ 11 AM @alluarjun @Atlee_dir @deepikapadukone,” the studio wrote.

The makers of tentatively titled AA22 x A6, directed by Atlee, have said the film’s name will be revealed on April 8.

Fans quickly jumped in. “Mark my words, He’s a Werewolf,” one wrote. Another said, “Allu Arjun and Atlee combo hitting different from initial stages Whose hand this? Expectations more….”

The film also stars Deepika Padukone, with reports saying Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna and Janhvi Kapoor could appear in key roles.

There was also talk that Shah Rukh Khan might unveil the teaser at a virtual event, but that now seems not to be happening.

The project is said to be mounted on a budget of over Rs 700 crore, with shooting expected to continue through the year in Mumbai.

For Pushpa star, the film could mark a shift. It is being described as a high-octane action entertainer, with the actor in an intense, never-seen-before avatar.

And there is more lined up. He is also set to work with Lokesh Kanagaraj on another film, currently called AA23.
