Bollywood actors Ananya Panday and Lakshya reunited for a romantic drama that showcases a modern love story. Titled Chand Mera Dil, the film is set to release in cinemas on May 22, 2026. Alongside the release date announced, the makers released the first look of the lead actors as a love- struck couple.

The teaser, which came out ahead of the film’s release, offered audiences a glimpse of the intense tale of love and longing. On April 6, 2026, producer Karan Johar shared the teaser and the release date on social media, writing, “A love story where… life happens faster than love. Chand Mera Dil in cinemas 22nd May, 2026.”

The images in the teaser highlighted different phases of the main characters’ relationship. The couple initially falls for each other easily, but their journey wasn’t smooth. As they tried to navigate their relationship, life threw unexpected. The poster read: “When love grows faster than life…Not every first love gets a second chance…”

Directed by Vivek Soni, the film is produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. 

Chand Mera Dil marks Lakshya’s return to cinema after his 2023 action film Kill. He was last seen in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut show, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Ananya Panday began 2025 with Kesari Chapter 2 and later appeared in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri alongside Kartik Aaryan.
