Fox has opted to bring back Memory of a Killer for another season, as per Deadline.

The exciting update arrives as the thriller led by Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli wraps its first season with a finale which aired on April 6.

Aaron Zelman and Glenn Kessler will remain at the helm as showrunners for the second season of Memory of a Killer , the series inspired by the bestselling book and the 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer.

They stepped in midway through production of the series’ 10-episode first season, taking over from original co-showrunners and developers Ed Whitmore, Tracey Malone, and David Schulner.

Memory of a Killer, from Warner Bros Television and Fox Entertainment, premiered after the NFC Championship Game in January, reaching 16.2 million viewers across all platforms and encores.

The hit crime drama, psychological thriller, and action series ranks as Fox’s most streamed drama debut in six years, since 9-1-1: Lone Star’s debut in 2020.
