Jaafar Jackson has unveiled that he has high hopes from the Michael movie.
The pop icon Michael Jackson passed away at the age of 50 in 2009, leaving behind a great legacy.
The legend is getting a biopic made on his life journey and his nephew Jaafar is set to make his acting debut by playing the “King of Pop.”
As the release of the musical film comes near, the 29-year-old has shared his hopes from the upcoming biopic.
Jackson believes that Michael will allow fans to explore that side of the Dangerous singer which remained hidden beneath all the fame.
People know him for his iconic singing and dancing, but what many doesn’t know is that there was an emotional layer in the late musician that was never seen. Therefore, he hopes that the movie will changes people's opinion about the late singer.
During a chat with Interview Magazine, Jaafar added, "I'm most excited about people getting to understand Michael from a point of view they haven't seen before, to feel the quiet moments.”
“Because a lot of people are familiar with the iconic moments, but there's a whole emotional layer that hasn't ever really been seen”, he continued.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael is scheduled to hit theatres globally on April 22.
