There is fresh buzz around one of the most loved comedy franchises, Golmaal 5, and this time the talk is not just about who is joining, but also what is missing.

Director Rohit Shetty is bringing back his popular laughter therapy with a twist.

Reports suggest the new film will not have a romantic track at all. That is new for a series where the hero usually had a leading lady.

As per Variety India, Priyamani will be part of the film, but she will not be paired opposite Ajay Devgn or anyone else. 

This breaks a pattern seen since the first film. “Golmaal: Fun Unlimited” (2006) had Rimi Sen, while later parts featured Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra. This time, things look different.

Fans got the first hint of the film on March 14, when the team shared a video on Rohit Shetty’s birthday. 

The clip shows Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi coming together again.

But the moment that got people talking comes later. Akshay Kumar appears in a bald look, wearing a black kurta and sunglasses. Sitting next to Ajay, he plants a playful kiss on his cheek and shouts, “Music!”

The famous Golmaal theme starts, and the cast celebrates.

There is no announcement of the release date yet, but fans seem ready to witness the fun roller coaster on screens.
