Sanjay Leela Bhansali goes extra strict on 'Love & War' set
After signing over 500 NDAs, SLB takes extra measures to prevent any leaks from the film set
After some glimpses leaked from Love & War online, Sanjay Leela Bhansali appears to be taking stricter measures to build not just a movie but a mystery.
His upcoming love triangle is still in production, yet it is already drawing attention, not for what is seen, but for what is being hidden.
According to a previous report, over 500 NDAs have been signed to ensure that information, visuals, or material from the sets do not make their way into the public domain.

According to an industry source, the team is keeping things unusually tight. “Not just NDAs, the team of SLB’s Love & War is taking extra measures to prevent any leaks. Phones are not allowed on set, and every member has to submit their devices before entering. This is definitely taking the curiosity to see the set a notch higher.”
It is a rare kind of silence in an industry where behind-the-scenes clips often travel faster than official trailers.
Part of the buzz also comes from its cast, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, sharing screen space together for the first time.
Last year, some pictures of Ranbir and Alia from the set had gone viral. They hinted that the story could be set in the 1960s. Since then, the makers have become more careful.
There are also reports that some scenes are being shot again. Bhansali, known for his perfection, is said to be reworking key parts. This has added to the film’s cost and also slowed things down.
The release date is still not clear. It was first planned for Christmas 2025, then moved to a 2026 release, but no date has been alocated yet.
