Mark Hamill reveals his ‘peak achievement’
The actor is known for playing Luke Skywalker in ‘Star Wars’
American acting legend Mark Hamill has a different take on his life achievements.
The actor is known for playing one of the most famous characters on big screen, Luke Skywalker.
The 74-year-old starred in all Star War movies as well as the series as the Jedi.
He played Luke Skywalker for the first time in 1977’s Star Wars.
However, for him seeing himself on a cereal box was his “peak achievement”.
Speaking on USA Today, he said “To me, this was a peak achievement. Forget about the Oscars. I'm on a box of Kellogg's Corn Pops!”
The Star Wars: The Last Jedi star sai he was a big fan of the movies and at the time he bought comics and distributed it among his friends.
“I loved the toy aspect of it. Harrison [Ford] was sort of, 'Eh, whatever.' He didn't really care.”
He also mentioned his co-star Carrie Fisher, who portrayed Princess Leia, saying she thought it was “fun”.
The Hollywood star said his kids are divisive about his iconic role. While his eldest son is a big fan, his younger one believes the movies are too commercial for him.
