Dan Levy's new series 'Big Mistakes' is coming out on April 9
Dan Levy has revealed why it took him six years to return with a new show.
The Canadian actor and producer is currently busy promoting his upcoming show Big Mistakes, which is going to be a crime comedy series.
This marks as his new project after six years of his popular show Schitt’s Creek.
The romantic comedy earned a global recognition due to its fun and emotional storyline. Meanwhile, it also consisted of an amazing star cast including Dan, Catherina O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Annie Murphy an Sarah Levy.
According to the 42-year-old actor, Big Mistakes is nothing like Schitt’s Creek and there could be no comparison between them as they both have completely different genres.
Dan explained that after making six seasons of a warm, cuddly show, and he wanted to go in a completely "different direction".
In a virtual press conference, the Good Grief star added, "It’s been six years since Schitt’s ended. Because I loved what we did on Schitt’s so much I wanted to wait.
“Over that time I was thinking when I get back in TV, what is the premise? And Big Mistakes just clicked”, said Levy.
He went on to say that more he explored the world of Big Mistakes, the more it got exciting.
Backed by Netflix, Big Mistakes is set premiere on April 9.
