The trio presents stylish outfits through their visuals which demonstrate friendship and romance as their central themes. The fans recognized the iconic Tumhi Ho Bandhu from Cocktail because both songs shared a similar carefree vibe.

Social media immediately started comparing Jab Talak to Tumhi Ho Bandhu after the poster launch.

The original Cocktail which starred Saif Ali Khan Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty established the standard for urban friendship dramas. The sequel maintains the original atmosphere but it presents a complete new story together with different actors.
