In his latest stand-up special, Samay Raina announced the second season of his controversial show India's Got Latent which he had previously mentioned through a comedy routine.

The show generated multiple FIRs because of its controversial content which resulted in legal action against him and his fellow panelists.

A joke performed by Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia in February last year led to national protests which resulted in police complaints against all comedians who appeared in that specific episode of India's Got Latent.

Raina used his new special to connect George Orwell with his Kashmiri Pandit background while explaining his reaction to the storm which forced him to remove the complete show from YouTube.

"I don't think my show would have ended on a bigger high," he said in the special uploaded last night.

Before rephrasing it to,"I don't think the season one of my show would have ended on a bigger high than this. I will definitely bring back the show because I enjoyed doing that show. I want to do a wild show and you watch the softie version after censors."

The 28-year-old comedian delivered his emotional breakdown performance of more than one hour when he saw the parents of his friend Balraj Singh Ghai who owned the show venue Habitat club.
