50 Cent Documentary to debut on Hulu
50 Cent is reportedly getting a docu-series
50 Cent revealed on social media April 1 that Hulu is paying $75M for a new documentary, beating Starz, Netflix, and Apple, as per Deadline.
The Disney-owned service has confirmed a documentary series focused on the life of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
The three episode docu-series will explore his rise from Queens, surviving near fatal shooting (nine bullets), to becoming one of the most successful rappers, selling more than 30 million records worldwide.
Per the logline, this “definitive” documentary follows 50 Cent from his Queens roots to global dominance, highlighting how he transformed music, business, and film while redefining influence, power, and success.
The series will offer an up close look at a man who turned conflict and hardship into cultural legacy and lasting influence.
The project, currently untitled, is helmed by director Mandon Lovett and produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation and Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television.
50 Cent has released many hits like In da Club, Candy Shop, Just A Lil Bit and more.
