'Not Suitable for Work' set for summer release
This summer, Mindy Kaling is set to return to Television with her upcoming new show Not Suitable for Work, arriving on Hulu.
Hulu confirmed that fans will be able to enjoy the series when it drops on June 2 with the first three episodes, and then it will roll out two episodes weekly until its June 23 finale.
Set in Manhattan’s Murray Hill, Not Suitable for Work centers on five ambitious 20-somethings chasing career success while trying to also balance their personal lives.
The series features Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay and Jay Ellis, with a lineup of recurring guest stars including Victor Garber, Greg Germann, Judy Gold, Ego Nwodim, Harry Richardson, Constance Wu, Laura Bell Bundy, May Hong, Bhavesh Patel, Emilia Suárez and Michael Benjamin Washington.
Taking to Instagram on April 7, the 46-year-old actress, comedian and screenwriter released the first look images of the new series in a carousel post.
"Last year I moved to New York with some of my favorite people to make a show called Not Suitable for Work," she wrote in the caption.
"I’m really proud of this one. It’s funny and romantic and about my favorite kind of people, ambitious people who still believe in love. Enjoy our first pics of the show!"
