Hailee Steinfeld has opened up about the rules and routines she follows at home after welcoming her first child.

Speaking to Architectural Digest, the 29-year-old actress shared that her household follows certain practices, especially when it comes to spending quality time together.

While settling into life as a new mom, Steinfeld explained how she prioritises distraction-free meals.

"I think it’s a mixture of both. The preference is not in front of the TV. I value a meal away from technology, and even if it’s just the two of us—[or] if it’s us with friends, with family—that time is so limited with the opportunity to have uninterrupted conversation over a great meal," she said.

However, the Oscar-nominated actress emphasised that there is no television allowed at bedtime.

This comes days after Steinfeld announced the birth of her baby girl with husband Josh Allen on April 2 in a Substack post titled Special Delivery.

"Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes," she penned.
