Chris Hemsworth has finally made the much-awaited announcement regarding Extraction 3.

The last film came out in 2023, in which the Australian actor reprised the role of commando Tyler Rake and embarks a dangerous mission to save a ruthless gangster’s imprisoned family.

Taking it to Instagram, the 42-year-old dropped a post featuring him from the Extraction movie.

He confirmed that the work on the third sequel is set to begin this summer.

Hemsworth wrote in the caption, “Fired up for the next instalment of Extraction! Let’s go.”

The previous film showed Tyler getting imprisoned, but Alcott (Idris Elba) bails him out from the prison.

Chris, Idris and Golshifteh Farahani will be returning to play their respective roles in Extraction 3.

Fans have been waiting for this announcement for a long time. They are super excited to witness another action-packed movie from the franchise.

One of them reacted, “Yayy Tyler is back.”

Meanwhile, another fan commented, “Yay! Cannot wait. I’d love to see a more involved interaction with the kid from the first film.”

“There was that sitch where you sort of showed up but then nothing else. I get not doing it but I thought the two characters had such a connection.”

So far, there is no update regarding the release date of Extraction 3.
