Ariana Grande appears to be fully back in her musical era as she teased fans with a possible new album update amid ongoing rumours.

On Wednesday, April 8, the 32-year-old singer-songwriter turned to her Instagram handle to share a carousel of photos from the recording studio.

In the now-viral post, Grande can be seen sitting on a soundboard, posing near a microphone, and using her computer.

Shortly after the update, which further fuelled speculation about new music, fans couldn’t hold back their excitement.

“AG8 IS COMING,” one user wrote, while another added, “Oh, she’s cooking.”

A third commented, “What the world needs,” while a fourth remarked, “Oooooooo, I’m so seated, Miss Ariii.”

Although Grande has not officially confirmed a new album, a source told TMZ that she plans to release her eighth studio album this summer.

The source added that she is especially excited following a brief hiatus after her acclaimed performance in Wicked and Wicked: For Good.
