David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly trying to move past lingering tensions with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and extend an olive branch.

On Wednesday, April 8, The Cut reported that the 50-year-old former footballer and the 51-year-old fashion designer have  repeatedly offered to meet Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, on any terms they are comfortable with.

Sources claim that whether it involves lawyers, Nicola's family members, a therapist, or a mediator, David and Victoria are willing to do whatever it takes to repair the relationship.

Brooklyn made it clear in January this year that he has no intention of reconciling with his family, alleging he had been controlled his entire life.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled; I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he wrote in a six-page Instagram statement.

The 27-year-old aspiring chef added, “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”

Brooklyn also criticised his mother over an incident at his 2022 wedding, claiming that the former Spice Girls member interrupted his first dance with Nicola.

“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song,” he added.

Despite David, Victoria Beckham, and his siblings’ reported efforts to reconcile, Brooklyn Beckham appears unfazed and continues to share loved-up glimpses with Nicola Peltz on social media.
