Tom Holland’s latest update regarding the Spider-Man: Brand New Day already raising questions about its story.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the upcoming MCU movie is nearing it release date July 31 and the makers are still making changes and additions to the film.

According to Holland’s recent statement, they are re-shooting some scenes to add more humour to the project.

The 30-year-old told GQ, “We’re finding some ways to add a little bit more humor. We’re layering in a villain plotline in a new way and some really fun stuff”

“I can positively say that the stuff we’re doing, we don’t need … The movie works and sings as it is. We’re just adding the icing on the cake in certain areas”, added Tom.

This statement wasn’t well-received by the audience as they have mixed feelings about this move.

They are already thinking that the new spider-Man movie is going to be completely disappointing.

One of them wrote on X, “This is bad by the way if u dont know how to feel about it , it means the movie is going to be dogshit and exactly like the past 3.

Meanwhile, another commented, “When has adding ANOTHER villain ever worked? Why do we need more shitty mcu one-liners?

There are some fans who are saying that Marvel don’t trusts first draft anymore as they reshoot every big movie.

It is pertinent to mention that some days ago, there were reports that MCU shot some of the scenes again in Avengers: Doomsday as well.
