'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' enters global top 10 box office list

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has quietly made its place among the year’s biggest global earners, with impressive box office success.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has moved past the Rs 1000 crore mark in India just by the end of its third week in theatres, something very few films achieve.
But what is more surprising is its steady climb outside the country.
The film, led by Ranveer Singh, has collected around $ 178 million worldwide, according to trade estimates.
Some numbers differ, but even the lowest figures keep it among the top 10 highest-grossing films globally this year.
That puts it in the same space as titles like Project Hail Mary and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which had far wider international releases.
However, what stands out is that the film did this without releasing in the Gulf, a key overseas market for Hindi cinema, as it earned $26 million in North America alone.
In recent days, it surpassed the earnings of Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector, slowly climbing into the global top tier.
Its opening weekend, crossing $ 80 million, also beat newer releases like The Drama by a wide margin.
The sequel follows the success of its first part, which had earned nearly $ 150 million worldwide.
The film follows Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, showing how he turns into Hamza Ali Mazari. The story goes into his rise in Lyari’s underworld while working on a larger mission.
The cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt.
