We are also seeing a strong shift towards experiential cinema where audiences are seeking immersive shared experiences beyond traditional film viewing.”
PVR INOX has observed a major change in how consumers watch concert films. The previous BTS screenings achieved complete sell outs throughout the country which resulted in theaters needing to create additional screens to satisfy their dedicated fanbase.
The data shows a significant increase in group reservations and fandom-based audience attendance which includes Gen Z users and urban workers and K-pop fans who want to watch shows together.
