A major film leak had sparked strong reactions from leading actors in the Tamil film industry, with many raising concerns over piracy and its impact on cinema.

According to reports, the film Jana Nayagan, starring Vijay, was leaked online before its official release. The incident had led to anger among film personalities, who spoke about the need for strict action.

Rajinikanth shared his reaction on social media and described the situation as disturbing. He wrote, “The release of the Jananayagan film on the internet by someone is a cause for shock and pain.” He also urged authorities to take action and said such acts should not continue in the future.

Kamal Haasan also responded and linked the issue to delays in the certification process. He stated, “The leak of Jana Nayagan is not an accident – it is the result of systemic failure.” He added that delays in official procedures created space for piracy to grow.

He further said, “It endangers the work of hundreds of artists and technicians,” while calling for better systems and faster action against such incidents.

Suriya also expressed concern and called the situation upsetting. In his message, he said, “An entire team’s passion reduced to this.” He asked people not to watch or share the leaked content and asked them to respect the work of the film’s team.

Following the incident, reports stated that the makers had started legal steps against those responsible for sharing the film without permission.
