Bruno Mars just got a street named after him in Las Vegas and a huge parade was dedicated to him.

On April 10th, Las Vegas officially renamed a portion of Park Avenue to Mars as a tribute to his decade-long successful career and 120+ sold-out shows at Dolby Live.

While addressing at the big event, the Just the Way You Are hitmaker shared that his father sent him a witty yet emotional text message after unlocking this big achievement.

The 40-year-old musician read the message out loud to the audience sharing with them the kind of upbringing he got.

Bruno’s father wrote to him, “My loving son, I know you don’t like advice but getting a street name after you is a monumental moment. I just want to say I know you must be very proud because I’m so proud of you.”

He continued reading, “If you’re going to say anything on the mic to the crowd, both God and people love humility. So be humble. And tell your fans it’s their street and you’re so honoured.”

Mars’ dad mentioned that even though he is not present at the event, but his heart is present with him. “You know wherever you are, your mother is with you too.”

Talking to the Moon singer further mentioned that his father ended the note saying, “Ps please send money.”

Bruno also shared the glimpse of the massive event on his instagram with a caption thart read, "It’s officially Bruno Mars Day in Fabulous Las Vegas. The Romantic Tour begins tonight!"
