Actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram, a month after welcoming their first child, a daughter, shared her name as well.

The couple had shared news of their pregnancy on their second wedding anniversary on November 29, 2025, have now welcomed a baby girl.

She was born on March 10, which also happens to be Randeep’s father Ranbir Hooda’s birthday.

On April 10, completing one month since her birth, the  49-year-old actor posted some simple, cute photos on Instagram with Lin and their newborn. He wrote, “A new center to our world. NYOMICA HOODA - Divine Grace, Freedom and limitless like the sky.”

The name Nyomica means divine grace, freedom and something limitless, like the sky.

Earlier, while sharing the news of her birth, the Jaat actor also talked about how the day already meant a lot to the family. He posted a photo of his father holding the baby and wrote, “दादा अर पोती नै जन्मदिन की घणिए बधाई. Today, as I become a father, my appreciation for you has only grown deeper, Papa. And most importantly - Lin, thank you for making me a father and for bringing our little girl into this world. A little girl and a lifetime of love.”

Randeep and Lin have known each other for a long time. 

They met during their theatre days at Naseeruddin Shah’s Motley Theatre Group in Mumbai. What started as a friendship has now slowly turned into a family.
