Vignesh Shivan created a science fiction romantic comedy which he directed and wrote and which Pradeep Ranganathan stars in.

The film has managed to out-earn Adivi Sesh's Dacoit which released on the same day but its growth rate has not reached expected levels.

Data from the trade tracking site Sacnilk reports that Love Insurance Kompany earned ₹7.05 crore during its first day which marked the start of its distribution.

The film performed at a similar level to its first day performance when it generated ₹7.70 crore on its second day and first Saturday. The film reached a total of ₹14.75 crore net after this latest collection. Love Insurance Kompany is performing better than Pradeep's debut film Love Today, which earned just over ₹7 crore in its first two days of release.

The two successful movies of this series now exceed his first film which earned him less than his two successful films. The Saturday collection for both movies showed significant growth, which LIK was not able to replicate.

The science fiction romantic comedy which Vignesh Shivan directed and Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio produced includes Krithi Shetty and Yogi Babu and Seeman and Gouri G Kishan and Shah Ra and Malavika and Sunil Reddy as its supporting cast.

The film takes place in 2040 when people who are in relationships protect their bonds through a dating application called LIK but a man who prefers natural love falls for a woman who follows technological methods of dating.
