Blake Lively’s once-blossoming and highly successful career has reportedly taken a hit following her ongoing legal battle with her It Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni.

A Disney executive told the Daily Mail in an article published on Saturday, April 11, that the lawsuit has allegedly "ruined" the 38-year-old actress’s standing in Hollywood.

"The truth is she was never that popular. She had a reputation for being difficult, one of those toxic people who always thinks she knows best," the insider claimed.

The executive also pointed to Lively’s alleged problematic behaviour over the years, adding that there is little sympathy for her.

"She’s made her bed and she can lie in it," the source said, claiming that "people in Hollywood" aren’t "shedding tears over her."

This insight comes after Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams failed to reach a settlement.

Initially, a judge dismissed the Jane the Virgin actor’s $400 million countersuit against the Gossip Girl alum, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their production companies in June 2025, citing a failure to prove that her statements were false.

However, on April 2, the judge dismissed 10 of Lively’s 13 claims against Baldoni, including breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation.
