Tom Cruise fans are excited to see him in a role different from that he plays in action-packed franchise, Mission Impossible.

The 63-year-old action star will be starring in a film called Digger, directed by Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.

A few months ago, Warner bros teased the upcoming satirical black comedy featuring Tom.

The official teaser showed the Top Gun star dancing with a shovel. However, his face wasn’t revealed in the small snippet, but it still looked interesting and sparked curiosity among fans.

The makers are making some massive moves to promote the film. For instance, the production company dropped a video yesterday sharing the glimpse of the making of a gigantic shovel having Digger’s name and logo.

Internet is going crazy as they feel awestruck witnessing such a big shovel for a movie promotion. Besides that, they have really high hopes with this project.

One of the fans wrote, “I have a feeling that it’s going to be epic.”

Meanwhile, another commented, “Wow!!! I absolutely loved all of this… so excited for what’s coming next.”

There are some fans who expressed their curiosity in wanting to know what exactly is the movie about.

Cruise’s new film Digger is set to hit theatres in October 2026.
