Akshay Kumar reveals why son Aarav was ‘haunted’ by Vidya Balan for years
Akshay Kumar shares son Aarav's 'terrifying' meetup with Vidya Balan
Akshay Kumar recently made a surprising statement about his son Aarav and his 'terrifying' experience with Vidya Balan.
The 58-year-old actor, who worked alongside Vidya Balan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, opened up about his son’s fear from Manjulika for about six years.
In an exclusive conversation with Sonal Kalra, he revealed, “I was talking to my son recently, he told me that when he saw Bhool Bhulaiyaa for the first time, he couldn’t speak to Vidya Balan for six years! He used to get scared of Vidya.
"That one time she came to our house, Aarav wasn’t ready to meet her, and not even willing to look into her eyes. I had to nurture and tell him for six years ‘She is Vidya Balan, she’s really nice.’ He said ‘no dad, I don’t want to meet her.’ He had got scared!”
It is pertinent to mention that Bhool Bhulaiyaa featured Vidya as Avni, who gets possessed by a ghost in the haveli.
Moreover, the Hera Pheri star has played the role of Dr. Aditya Shrivastav, who solves the mystery of the ghost, Manjulika.
Meanwhile, Balan and Kumar are all set to collaborate once again for Anees Bazmee’s upcoming project.
For the unversed, the Jolly LLB 3 actor is eyeing the release of his much-awaited film Bhoot Bangla, scheduled to release on Thursday, April 16.
