Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones ready to voice roles for Disney
A fresh animated adventure is on the way as Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones team up to lead the voice cast of Disney’s animated film Hexed, confirmed at CinemaCon on April 16.
Set to hit theaters on November 25, Hexed centers on a teenage girl and her Type-A mother as they uncover that her “quirks” may actually be magical powers; ones that could upend both their lives and a hidden world of magic.
Hailee Steinfeld, 29, has been cast as Billie Doe, the film’s teenage protagonist, with Rashida Jones, 50, lending her voice as her mother.
Hailee has been making the rounds since having starred in The Sinners. She has a vast filmography having starred in multiple productions like Pitch Perfect 2 and Pitch Perfect 3, True Grit, Bumblebee, The Edge of Seventeen, Romeo and Juliet, and more.
Rashida is known for her role in Parks and Recreation as Ann Perkins. She has also worked on The Office, Silo, I Love You, Man, The Social Network and more.
