‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’: Zee Studios joins T-Series for release
Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ gets new distributor
The year 2026 will become an excellent year for comedy films. The trend started yesterday when Bhooth Bangla was released and now Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will follow. The film which T-Series produced will receive its distribution through Zee Studios in a surprising turn of events.
A source told, “Zee has come on board to distribute Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. This marks the second time after Jhund (2022) that Zee will be involved in the release of a T-Series film. It has already become a major talking point in the industry and trade circles. It also shows how new and surprising collaborations can emerge in the film business depending on the circumstances.”
The source further said, “The upcoming posters and assets of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do are expected to carry the logo of Zee Studios.”
Reports also suggest that an initial teaser of Pati Patni Aur Woh would likely appear in a week's time. The comedy is to hit theatres on 15 May.
The movie Pati Patni Aur Woh Do features Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh. The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz who previously directed Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) which featured Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.
The comic caper made a successful run at the box office by earning Rs. 86.89 crores. Hence expectations are immense for Pati Patni Aur Woh Do as well.
The movie which was originally set to premiere on 4 March for the Holi holiday. The film is produced through Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Renu Ravi Chopra's B R Studios with Juno Chopra serving as the primary creative director.
The film presents its viewers with a peculiar world which creates an entertaining story that combines dramatic elements with comedic moments and romantic relationships.
