Khloe Kardashian reflects on mistakes of past with Kourtney, Kim Kardashian
The reality star reveals how Kris Jenner convinced them to do TV
Khloe Kardashian is looking back at her early business days and the lessons that came with them.
The reality star recently spoke about launching the now-closed boutique Dash alongside sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian admitting the trio went into it with little experience.
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Morgan Stewart Show Khloe revealed that the sisters initially had no interest in stepping into reality television even after their mother Kris Jenner pitched the idea.
“At first we were like, ‘We’re not doing this,’” she said.
Khloe explained that Kris ultimately convinced them by framing the show as a business opportunity rather than a media venture.
“And how my mom conned us into doing it was, she said, ‘Think of it as a commercial for the store,’” she recalled adding that the sisters were fully focused on making Dash work.
“We had no employees. It was just me and Kourt,” Khloe said. “We did everything: the cleaning, the taxes, the steaming of the clothes.”
“We had not one employee. We didn’t know what the f*** we were doing,” she added.
Dash which launched in the mid-2000s became closely tied to the Kardashian brand before eventually shutting down in 2018.
Khloe also reflected on personal moments from that time including how her family managed finances following the death of her father Robert Kardashian.
