Aryan Khan’s fun wedding moment goes viral
Aryan Khan joins the Joota Churai ritual, seen guarding the groom’s shoe like a pro
Aryan Khan seems a quite serious person by his nature, who rarely smiles on camera but a recent video proved all the assumptions around his personality almost wrong.
The 28-year-old was seen in a playful mood while taking part in 'Joota Churai' ritual at a friend’s wedding.
A video shared by the wedding planners shows the unseen side of the young director who almost fell down but refused to let go of his best friend’s shoe at the wedding.
Along with video they wrote, “When the Groom’s best friend is the BA****S of Bollywood. Between sneaky steals, dramatic negotiations, and laughter echoing through every corner — this wasn’t just joota churai, it was a total dhamaal.”
The text on the video reads: “Joota churai turned into a full-blown mini war!”
The clip shows Aryan Khan in a pretty casual look, jeans, a T-shirt and a brown jacket, moving around with the groom’s shoe tightly in his hand. He doesn’t seem ready to give it up at all.
People from the bride’s side keep trying to grab it from him, but he holds on.
At one point, he almost loses his balance and nearly falls, but still doesn’t let the shoe go.
The video finally wraps up with him managing to escape the crowd, still holding the shoe and running off with it.
Joota churai is a fun Indian wedding ritual where the bride’s side tries to steal the groom’s shoes, while his side guards them. It usually ends with the groom paying to get them back.
On the professional front, Aryan made his debut as a director with the Netflix web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. He’s the director, writer, creator and showrunner of the show. He has yet to announce his upcoming project.
