Ram Charan's Peddi finally locks release date
Written and directed by Buchi Babu, the Ram Charan-starrer will arrive in theatres on June 4, 2026
The 2026 release line-up is slowly getting packed, and now Peddi has also fixed its release date in the summer window.
Ram Charan’s film will release in theatres on June 4 this year, coming right after the IPL season ends.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is said to have been made on a big scale.
The 41-year-old actor plays the lead role of Peddi Pehelwan, while Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu are also part of the film. Music for the project is composed by A. R. Rahman.
Ever since the film was announced, the internet has been buzzing about it, which grew more after Ram Charan’s first look from the film was released.
Now the release date announcement has added more attention to the project.
The makers have already released posters, teaser clips and songs to keep the film in discussion. Songs like Chikiri Chikiri and Rai Rai Raa Raa have especially helped the promotions in recent weeks.
While Chikiri Chikiri got a strong response online and crossed 200 million views across platforms, Rai Rai Raa Raa came with a more energetic feel and crossed over 47 million views on YouTube.
The action drama also features Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma in important roles. Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas along with Mythri Movie Makers.
