Riteish Deshmukh is celebrating the success of Raja Shivaji and urging fans not to share spoilers online.

The 47-year-old actor, who earned widespread acclaim for his role as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, expressed his gratitude towards his fans in recent video.

On Saturday, May 02, Deshmukh shared a clip on his Instagram.

In the video, the Raid 2 star said, "Namaskar! We have released the film Raja Shivaji, based on the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. You have watched this film with your own eyes and given such a great response to it. The entire team of Raja Shivaji and I are deeply indebted to you for that."

Later in the post, the Ved actor requested fans not to share anything about the film.

"I have only one request. I understand your feelings. Many of you are making videos inside theatres and posting them online," he continued. "I kindly request you not to post videos."

The caption of the post in Marathi read, "A humble request: Please do not upload videos on social media while watching the movie."

Raja Shivaji, also starring Genelia Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, and more, was released on Friday, May 01.

It is pertinent to mention that the film features the special appearance of Salman Khan as well as the debut performance of Rahyl Deshmukh.
