Trump shares his AI-image in Lincoln Memorial pool ahead of renovation plans
Donald Trump posted an AI-generated image of himself lounging shirtless in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool as he continues to promote planned renovations to the historic site.
The image shared Friday May 1 on Truth Social without a caption shows Trump floating in the pool alongside JD Vance, Marco Rubio and Doug Burgum as well as an unidentified woman.
Trump is depicted reclining on a gold-colored inflatable chair while others smile and pose with thumbs-up gestures.
The post is one of several digitally altered images Trump shared to highlight his vision for the pool’s redesign.
In the images the water appears a deep shade he described as “American flag blue” contrasting with past photos of the landmark.
Trump also posted a comparison image referencing Barack Obama’s presidency showing the pool with visible algae.
He captioned the post “Coming soon” adding “This is what our Country was before, and after, ‘TRUMP!’ ”
The AI image comes weeks after Trump publicly confirmed plans to renovate the reflecting pool located between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.
