Owen Cooper set to take on new role
Adolescence star Owen Cooper is stepping into a major new project.
He is set to join a star studded cast in the upcoming British thriller Foxfinder.
The 16-year-old English actor will star alongside major stars like Thor: Ragnarok's Tessa Thompson and The Bear's Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Directed by Aoife McArdle, known for Severance, Foxfinder is co-written by McArdle and Dawn King, who first created the story as a 2011 play.
Production on the film will reportedly kick off this summer in Bavaria, Germany.
"Foxfinder will follow Jude and Sam, a grieving couple clinging to routine and survival, whose lives are upended when William, a coldly devout government 'foxfinder,' arrives at their struggling farm with a mission to root out the designated enemy – the fox," the synopsis reads as per Screen Daily.
"As paranoia festers and absurd regulations tighten their grip, suspicion replaces love, and truth itself begins to warp."
